Happy Chinese New Year
Happy Chinese New Year to you all! Wishing you the best in the year of the Rabbit.
I made this Chinese Dress for MSB this year with pink and gold brocade, since this is the year of the rabbit, I guess a soft coloured fabric would be very suitable f or the occasion. I borrowed the idea of a few designer and added some of my own, the fabrics are easy to handle but fray very easily, its a challenge to sew tailor this fully lined dress. I add frogs (Chinese buttons) as decoration.

Inspire by 2010 X'mas Barbie, of course I was unable to recreate the entire outfit in accordance to Mattel specifications, their work are too complicated to recreate so I use beadings instead. I just want to say thank you Mattel and your crew for providing us with beautiful creations one after another!!!

Solo in the spotlight 3
I remembered a number of years ago when I first got hooked up with doll collecting, I came across with No. 1 Barbie. I instantly felt in love with her, the sultry look and her amazing fashion was irresistible. Of course, I was never able to afford a no.1 Barbie until a month ago; I happily brought home a new release of No.1 Barbie. She was still in her box! In order to enjoy the “Solo in the spotlight” fashion I recreated the look on My Size Barbie and here is the result.
